Who is Luka Dončić?
Luka Dončić is a professional basketball player born on February 28, 1999, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He started playing basketball at a young age and joined the youth team of Real Madrid in 2012. In 2015, Dončić won the Spanish U16 championship with Real Madrid, and he was also named MVP of the tournament. He continued to play for Real Madrid until 2018, winning several titles and receiving numerous individual awards. In 2018, Dončić was selected third overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA draft, but he was later traded to the Dallas Mavericks. During his rookie season, he impressed by becoming the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, as well as the youngest player to score at least 30 points in a game. Since then, Dončić has continued to dominate the league, winning several individual awards, including Rookie of the Year in 2019 and a selection to the All-NBA team in 2020. He has also become an international star representing Slovenia in international competitions, winning a gold medal at EuroBasket 2017 and being named the competition’s MVP.

Her mother Maja Bec Goltes has a law degree, while her father Matjaz graduated from the University of Ljubljana. As for the circumstances of their meeting, Anamaria revealed in an interview that she met the future NBA star when they were only 12 years old: « I have answered this question a million times. We met when we were 12 years old by the seaside in Croatia. Fun fact: we still have the same group of friends we had back then. »
