The “controversial” German stylist and designer Philippe Plein is still being talked about. This time it is not about a new line or a new model, but about a scandal in which it is involved. Brazilian model Gizele Oliveira revealed the stylist’s attitude and inappropriate behavior during a fashion show.

Indeed, Gizele Oliveira is a 29-year-old Brazilian model who already has a dozen years of experience. On TikTok, the young woman decided to reveal to the public the misadventure she experienced on March 10, 2023, with Philippe Plein. In this video, Gizele tells that she was booked for a show of the German brand, and that her agency had provided the organizers with all her measurements. But upon arrival, Gizele repeatedly had to give her measurements back, including her size 4 breasts, which organizers have emphasized. However, she was surprised to find that all the other models were wearing 2 or even 0. When Gizele’s turn came, they put her outfit on without even closing it, before coming back to her and ordering her to put it on. Withdraw on the pretext that « it wasn’t going to do it ». The young woman therefore waited in her underwear for another outfit to be given her size, but in vain, since the outfits are all standard. Basically, Philippe Plein, who arrived very late, wanted her to pack up and leave.
In the end, it turned out that Philippe Plein was based on photos of her dating from the 2018 Victoria’s Secret fashion show. And after 5 years, her body changed and therefore her measurements increased slightly. Something that Philippe Plein probably did not accept, since he thought that his outfits would suit him. « I can’t believe I can still be too tall for designers in 2023 wearing XS, » she concluded her video.
Beyond the time she lost for this parade, Gizele Oliveira was above all a victim of the inappropriate attitude of Philippe Plein and his team, who have not yet reacted to this scandal.
