During our interview, Papa J. Ruiz was kind enough to tell us more about the aftermath of the hostilities… “will be dropping my first Horror album in October. It will be the scariest horror rap album ever made with every song being rooted in a classic horror movie theme. This is a character I have been working on since 2012 when I released my first horror song but I was not confident yet in the character, it wasn’t until 2022 when producer Nuglife & I created a song titled « NC17″ where I found the character and the direction of where I want his genre of music to go. ». It’s not over, the artist gives us some crisp details on this upcoming opus: « The project is completely produced by my friends « Panda Sen » & « Jonny Montana ». Working with them has been amazing. The project will be titled « The Graveyard Shift ». I have an entire album ready to go for the summer of 2024 but I don’t want to expose any more information other than it’s completely Incredible, probably just as good as Sugar Hill Gang’s first album. ».
